"Looking for someone nice and kind."

About me...

Well. I work for the Dutchess Count Child Care Center for 8 Years. I'm pretty much laid back, and I like a little bit of everything. I love working with kids and I enjoy being the owner of my own family business. I consider myself to be very lucky.

I'm usually always working from six in the morning till six in the afternoon. I enjoy my job very much, but I don't get to really get out that often. I'm pretty much into everything, and I'm very open minded about giving new things a chance. Enjoy conversation and I enjoy listening and exchanging advise.

I'm a really down to earth kind of guy, who loves animals and kids. I enjoy helping others and making other people happy. I like to take care of myself also, but not so much that you would call it being vain. Enjoying life is important to me.

I'm looking for...

Someone to talk with and exchange conversation with. Chatting over a cup of coffee or taking a walk at the public park. Even staying up late and talking on the phone would be cool with me. I guess I'm looking for a good girl who has good values.

I'm not into drugs or getting wasted with other people. I have a lot of responsibility in my life, I don't have any plans to jeopardize my hard work and dedication to my profession.

The most important thing in my life is...

My family is the most important thing in my life. I think Family is extremely important. Both my mother and sister have been there for me through the good and the bad. We bend over backwards for each other, and we tick together no matter what. I think it is important to have good family values and to be able to share your life with your family.

I spend my free time...

I usually like to spend my free time relaxing from work. I'm up for almost anything, whether it's watching movies, playing videogames or going out to dinner. I like to talk on the phone a lot too, it's great to get away from anything that doesn't have to do with my job. Sometimes I draw or write in my journal if I have a few hours and nothing else to do.

About my job...

The past few years I've worked in a Child Care center and I enjoy working with kids. The idea of being surrounded by more then ten kids at one time might sound stressful to others. However I love my job and it is a honor to watch over the children in my care. I enjoy teaching them and preparing them for school. It's a wonderful job, I am truly lucky to have such a rewarding job.

Currently my hard work and dedication to my business has opened new doors for me. Soon I'll have my own house and the security that comes along with it. I plan on investing a lot more time into making my business grow, so I can continue to support myself and my new home. I have a lot to be thankful for.

How I spent my last vacation...

I usually spend my vacations doing anything and everything. If I don't have a lot of time off, I'll rent some movies and relax with whoever is available. I do like to travel and use the train to see other cities. I'm not beyond trying something new for the first time, it doesn't matter if it's in my hometown or another state. I do like to keep a clean house and I will spend time toward fixing whatever is broken. I also like to keep in touch with friends who I haven't seen in awhile.

My favorite dish or recipe...

I am always open to new types of food and I like to experiment. I usually don't eat anything with pork in it though. I'm mostly into poultry, like chicken or turkey dinners. I do like the taste of Asian food though and I like to try sushi every once in awhile.

My last good read...

I like to read everything from Marvel Comics to the latest book from Simon R Green. I'm more into horror and suspense though, the scarier and more traumatizing the better. Currently I'm trying to find the time to read Stephen King's IT, mostly because it is a book I've wanted to read since I was a teenager. br/

My top 3 favorite movies and why you should see them...

1) Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind. - The one romance movie that I didn't fall asleep on. Even though it has Jim Carrey in it, this is definitely not a comedy at all. The acting is spot on and it's worth the time of those who don't even like romantic movies.br/br/2) Dawn of the Dead. (Remake) - Perfect scary movie and my all time favorite zombie flick. A keeper for those who enjoy fast paced horror movies.br/br/3) Children of Men - A lot more serious then the other two films. But I have a soft spot for Clive Owen and he really shines in this film. br/

The top 5 things I can't live without...

1) My business. I spent the last five years working toward the improvement on the Child Care I work at. It is a blessing that the business is booming and we are able to live comfortably again.
2) My family. Both my mother and sister have been my side through the good and the bad. I'm blessed to have such amazing women at my side, they are the only consistent in my life, the only two that I have been able to count on.
3)My pets. My two miniature greyhounds who have moved with me through three different houses. I have lost many personal possessions, but I am thankful that by dogs are safe and still with me. In fact I consider my animals to be members of my family, I don't want to imagine life without them.
4) My computer. I spend way too much free time surfing the web and watching random youtube videos.
5) My car. The only way you can truly survive in Wappingers Falls.

My personal soundtrack...

I like a wide variety of music, I don't have enough space to list all the different songs I've grown attached to. I would like to think my life is too original and I'm too diverse to label a specific soundtrack to. But I will say that I listen to everything from Mindless Self Indulgence to Eminem. There is a lot that I don't like, but even then I can tolerate and find most songs tolerable. br/

My motto...

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Life has it's ups and downs, but it's how we move forward that defines who we are.

What my best friend would say about me...

I've been told that I'm a really good guy and one day I'll meet a woman who will appreciate me. I just don't get out there enough to meet other people. I've been told that I'm sweet and caring, and that I have a lot of patience. And I guess because I work with children, I've been told that I would make a really good dad.

My most prominent memory...

The Halloween party that we had for the kids at our childcare. The orange and yellow leaves falling down all around us. The bitter cold air nipping at our noses, while the kids ran around in their Halloween costumes.

If I could be anywhere right now, I would be...

I would love to be somewhere peaceful and quite. It's rare that I get time away from kids, since my work involves working with more then five differently aged children at one time. It would be nice to get away from it all and be able to enjoy myself with someone special.

On my coffee table you will find...

Magazines and whatever book I happen to be reading right now.

Last Saturday night I...

Went shopping for someone's birthday party. The mall can be really hectic, but I enjoy shopping and buying gifts for others. I actually prefer to shop for someone else, rather then myself.

I once made someone laugh by...

At my work I try to keep the atmosphere light and humorous. It is way to easy to get wrapped up in life's tiny troubles, often too many people get sucked into the void that drama can cause. I do my best to turn a potential headache into a comical one, more often then not I end up lightening the mood and making the day a little more bearable. When my sister is talking about a hard day at school, we end up joking about it and she is able to see it from a different point of view.

If I could be on any reality TV show, I would be on...

I don't watch much reality television. I don't have a clue which one I would be the most appropriate for.
